We started to grow spearmint for Colmans of Norwich for their mint sauce in 1973 and are now 1 of 4 growers in Norfolk supplying them with all their mint. We now also sell to another processing customer, Frozen Herbs in South Norfolk, and some fresh sales.
Harvest starts in May and with some fields yielding 2 cuts and some 3, harvest continues over the summer and through until October. Fertiliser and irrigation being applied when necessary to encourage quick regrowth.
